Collector’s Award Press Release

Susan Elena Esquivel was chosen as this year’s recipient of the Collector’s Award at the 2008 Northern Virginia Fine Arts Show in Reston, Virginia. This award is sponsored by well known Fine Art and Fine Craft Collector Glenn Davis who personally selects one artist from 185 artists each year to receive the award. He founded the award in 2003 at ArtBaltimore and since 2005 has presented this award at the Northern Virginia Fine Arts Show. Previous recipients include Karl Yost, Matthew Fine and Christopher Strassner. The Northern Virginia Fine Arts Festival is a top-rated annual juried art festival held in the heart of the elegant and bustling Reston Town Center. The first Festival was held in 1991 and featured 30 exhibiting local artists and attracted 3,000 visitors.
